“The Lockable Coupler Socket is the dedicated tool sized for Broadfence’s Anti-Climb Lockable Coupler, the anti-tamper hardware used where panels must not be unclipped and removed from a run.
Tamper-resistant couplers work precisely because standard tools do not fit them. That security only holds if the correct socket is controlled by the install crew rather than left on site, so the socket is best treated as a crew tool that travels with the team, not as consumable site stock.
Using the correct socket also protects the hardware. Improvising on a security fastener with an ill-fitting tool rounds the drive, and a rounded lockable coupler usually has to be cut off, which means replacing the coupler and losing time at demobilisation.
The socket measures 0.88 inches in diameter by 2.5 inches long and is finished in hard chrome gold, both for durability under repeated torque and so the tool is visually distinct in a toolbox. Broadfence ships it direct alongside the lockable coupler hardware it serves.”
Very satisfied with the product and the staff was very helpful in choosing the correct product for my company.

All the people that we are working with really like this fencing, easy to setup and move as needed, and they really like the no sandbags!
– Tim, Butler, PA
Very pleased with the product. The panels were well packed for shipping. The panels will serve us well for a long time. We were very happy all the way through the process. Will be more than happy to recommend you to others.

No. Tamper-resistant couplers require their dedicated socket, and improvising rounds the drive and often means cutting the coupler off.
No. It is best kept as a crew tool, since controlling the tool is part of what makes the coupler tamper-resistant.
